Hong Kong Metro

Hong Kong MTR has awarded CSR Sifang a HK$6bn contract to supply 93 eight-car metro trainsets. Priestmangoode is responsible for the design with me as a transport designer mainly working on the exterior and parts of the interior design. The new trains will feature dynamic route maps, improved lighting, double-branched handrails and soft material hand straps. Deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2018 and 2023.

Qingdao Metro

Qingdao metro lines is currently in construction with a total of 22 stations to be finished around 2017, with a fleet of 24 trainsets to be manufactured by CRRC Sifang. Below is my proposal of exterior and interior concept including a modular drivers panel for easy access to driverless option.
